FOOD

BREAKFAST & DANISH CUISINE

We don't just tell you where it's happening. We make it happen right at the hotel – from the best organic breakfast in town to a true Danish food experience right next door.

The organic breakfast is one of our standout features – so good, it has its own name! You get a with a variety of organic treats to choose from, all prepared to perfection with great passion – and good coffee, organic of course.

The hotel is set a food-packed area, but if you want a real Danish experience, you only need to go next door to our Tivolihallen. A conceptual restaurant that serves up an authentic Danish menu of homemade dishes. It’s like visiting your grandmother - if she was Danish that is.

Say hello to Hotel Danmark

Imagine a culture-packed area brimming with historic buildings, and museums on one side, on the other side the main shopping district buzzing with stores, restaurants, bars, and cafés. And there… in the middle of it all you find Hotel Danmark, our 4+ star luxury boutique hotel. The hotel is spread across two original buildings – one a protected white townhouse from 1792, the other is from 1969, now all covered with 4200 striking green glossy tiles reflecting the iconic Copenhagen benches (making it quite the show-stopper).

Hotel Danmark lives up to its name in every way (we even kept it in Danish), where you stay side-by-side with Danish history. Here, every brick has a story. The historic elements are creatively combined with bespoke sophisticated interior and cool innovative features. So, get ready for a unique experience packed with storytelling.

Inside, you have the lobby and bar that are mixed into one atmospheric social space and designed inventively with subversive design touches - and a few unexpected elements. The décor combines surfaces and materials like subtle cherry wood panels, brass, and marble. A few steps down you find an indoor vineyard with black marble-floor and modern fireplace. The perfect spot to soak up the vivid vibe of the hotel. Upstairs 89 luxury rooms and suites await. The tales of Copenhagen continues while getting to your room. The hallways reflect the nearby ‘Thorvaldsen’s Museum’ with bespoke colour-combos on the walls and mosaic patterned carpets. The rooms are all elegantly decorated in either pristine shades of grey and white - or playful green velvet-like walls and marble floor. All the beds have customized leather headboards inspired by the seats of a vintage car.

Oh, and if you go all the way to the top of the hotel, you’ll find the rooftop terrace with a stunning 360-degree view of Copenhagen (and beyond!).
